-Pet has to be a minimum of 8 weeks old

-Updated rabies vaccine (for 6 months and older) 

-Current on Flea and Tick Preventative (for 6 months and older)

If your pet is not able to get the rabies vaccine, or even any flea/tick preventative, we need to have a letter or email from your vet stating that and why. 

We do not require it until they are 6 months old, as that is TN law. If your pet is so small that your vet is still hesitant to give it to them, we just ask that your vet email or write us a letter saying so. 

We do not, but if you call us at (615)630-8870 or send a message through our texting line (970)610-0864 we can schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

This is one reason we highly recommend all pets to be up to date on flea/tick preventative as it is easy for fleas to spread. As soon as we realize that a pet has fleas, we take them straight to the bath to bathe them in flea shampoo. As one staff member is bathing that pup, another will notify the owner, another staff member will start cleaning the salon with a flea spray. This spray instantly kills fleas as soon as it makes contact. We spray all tables, tools, kennels, floors, tub, and even our own clothing. We then spray the shop vac, vacuum, then respray the shop vac and floor. Then we dump the shop vac contents in trash, spray the trash, and take it out.  The final step is examining each pet to ensure we do not see any fleas.

We know how quickly it can spread, that is why we take immediate and through actions. With these steps, we have never had an incident where fleas have spread.
